Screen options for p775dm3

I wanna ask about the screens.. The sellers don't have the details on their web.

Donald told me that 3k is a TN screen.(so that means all 3k screens that are offered for this laptop is the same, right?) I think I saw someone posted that the 4K is the only IPS screen, but I can work with FHD and save some money for external monitor.

I really need the color accuracy and not so much for refresh rate.

Btw since clevo just came out w/ p870zm. Should I be waiting for a p775zm or something like...

New 120hz Laptops Displays = Gorgeous!

For anyone wondering,
the new 17" Sager Displays with 120hz refresh have beautiful, clear colors.

When i calibrated my display the factory color gamut was the closest match to a post calibrated laptop display ive seen. Very good color gamut out of the box.

Most noticeable however is the crisp, clean, clear colors especially with graphics and fast moving gaming.

Laptops and displays, especially the 17" models are heavy, but its worth it do to screen quality.

Dont hesitate on getting one...

ClevoP870DM-G Nvidia drivers not recognizing 4K screen upgrade

I replaced the original G-sync enabled panel with a 4k non-G-sync panel a few months ago. After installation, the Nvidia drivers were unable to recognize the non-G-sync 4k screen and my 980Ms in SLI. I contacted @Prema and he sent a new system bios to flash. After that the Nvidia drivers were able to recognize both the 4k screen and my 980Ms without issue.

Today I updated my Nvidia drivers with a clean install using DDU to 376.33 and I ended up in the same state as...

I have a p377sma ( prema bios)
1070n msi non g-sync vbios

==> Lg 120hz working with or without nvidia driver. This panel is non g-sync
==> auo 120Hz working without nvidia driver This panel is G-sync
==> auo 4k working without Nvidia driver. this panel is G-sync.

All connectics are EDP.
All screens working with 980m
Auo not working with 1070N

If someone can make me working my both auo panels with 1070N nvidia driver installed, reward is 60$.

Hey guys,

My laptop model: Clevo W670CZ
OS: Win7
BIOS: 1.03.06 (2014)
Graphics: intel hd

I've tried to hook external GPU (gtx 1050) with my laptop using Exp GDC Beast PCI-E dock. Luckily, motherboard detected the GPU, but after installing nvidia drivers I got "code 43" error telling me that "windows stopped this device because it reported problems". My BIOS has no option to configure anything related to video devices and is 2 years older than given GPU. Could this be the root of the...

Access denied when trying to open bios folders in dos

I am trying to update my bios on my 6 year old np8130. I used rufus to create a bootable usb with a lexar micro sd to usb adapter using all default settings except msdos instead of freedos. I downloaded the correct sager bios files from the older thread. I boot the usb drive but when I try to open the folder with the EC/KBC file, which I guess it shortens with "~1", it says "access denied". Should I change the name of the folders? What should I do? Please help I'm trying to get this done...

Clevo P650SE unable to output to 120hz monitor

Hi, i am unable to output my P650SE laptop with gtx 970m to an external Samsung 1080p 120hz monitor.
Using one of the mini displayport on the laptop the max hz i am allowed to select is 100hz.
Btw i am using a cable that is a mini displayport one end (laptop) and regular displayport the other end (120hz monitor).

Im ordering stuff for a repaste, and was wondering if anybody has some info about what sort of thermal pads I'll need? Most likely ordering from www.caseking.de and they seem to have Thermal grizzly pads and some others.
Machine is running on stock pads, don't think it's ever been opened, that's I why thought changing them out.

Not sure if they are in need of replacing but I don't wanna open her up only to not finish it because I have no pads.

So I am planning to add additional RAM to my Laptop. I have 1 more slot to add another RAM (Total of 16 GB). But I wanted to ask something before I do this. This will be the first time I ever installed a new RAM on my computer so I ask, is there anything I need to check before I choose the correct RAM for my laptop? Is there anything I need to do before installing a RAM? Does it need to be exactly the same as my current RAM card installed, including brand?

Planning new Clevo 7th gen. CPU and 120hz screen

HI.

I own a good loved five year P170HM from Eurocom, and I'm planning to buy a new Clevo.

What I want:
7th gen. Intel CPU
17" 120hz FullHD screen
Nvidia 1070
Aluminium exterior finish (I hate rubberized stuff)
Those screens with good color quality. When I bought mine it was called 90% NTSC color gamut. Don't know nowadays.
I have no plans to overclock anything.

Which model and reseller can offer me this? Can you guys help me?

A couple weeks ago I was asking about BIOS updates that allowed VT-d options, to be told Intel's website is correct that this chipset cannot support these functions, despite having seen a report from someone who ran Qubes on one of these computers.

That is incorrect. No settings changes are required, and DMAR was configured by Sager. Simply put in a 2820QM or better and enable IOMMU in your Linux kernel's boot parameters.

The extra full-length mPCIe slot is all alone, and looks like...

Specs

i7 7700k 4.4
gtx 1070 sli
24gb hyperX ram
4k resolution

MY problem is when I try to play a game in full screen the screen goes crazy and start flickering, but when I put It into borderless mode it works. any ideas of what is causing this? I had this with my previous laptop and ended up getting a replacement just put it on today and to find its doing the same problem. does any1 know a fix for this ? also it wont let me install any new drivers for the GPUs.
