Clevo p370em black screen

Hello
My clevo went wierd

Fans spinning
Keyboard lights are on

But nothing more happens

I took away both hdds, cmos battery
tested ram
2 minutes hold the ON button
Switched gpu cards [680 sli]
new cooling past on cpu and gpus

I dont see bios whem I start the clevo?
Dvd spinns when i insert a dvd
Hdd spins

Im all stuck, dont know what to do

Hello guys, my dog ate my Clevo P650SE charger (Chicony A12-180P1A), and since i'm from Portugal, this charger is really expensive, can't get it for <80€.

So, i checked on ebay and saw this charger from alienware:

Are there any Clevo reseller near Orlando? Or, at least, a store that has the new Clevo models? I'm travelling to US and I want to inspect the new models before buying.

installed 4k AUO screen in P775dm3-g - no g-sync

Just installed B173ZAN0 1.0 AOU UHD/4k screen in to p775dm3-g G-sync 1080 gtx machine and the G-sync option is not available in the Nvidia panel.

any idea why? driver installed, the GPU hardware ID did not change from FHD where G-sync works perfectly.

maybe @Prema or @Meaker@Sager knows?

I have a p377sma ( prema bios)
1070n msi non g-sync vbios

==> Lg 120hz working with or without nvidia driver. This panel is non g-sync
==> auo 120Hz working without nvidia driver This panel is G-sync
==> auo 4k working without Nvidia driver. this panel is G-sync.

All connectics are EDP.
All screens working with 980m
Auo not working with 1070N

If someone can make me working my both auo panels with 1070N nvidia driver installed, reward is 60$.
Helps&tutorial...

Clevo P771DM problem with Akitio thund3

Hello to everyone,
I have a Clevo P771DM with thunderbolt 3. I try to connect a Akitio Box PCI thunder3, the PC produces the classic sound when a device is connected, but the Box not work. No led status and the fan is stopped.

Do you have any ideas?

recently i have been into customizing new Clevo dm series and here is a very interesting discovery i have found, this covers all gpus: 980, 980m, 970m or any other you might want to install:

if you are like me and not happy with the factory TIM, you might have already taken off the heatsink and applied your favorite TIM to your GPU/GPUs, and if you are like me - then you probably know the ammount of your TIM needed to drop in the center of the die to have it...

Is there any fix for the awful fan curves on the Clevo laptops?

Hi guys!

This is my first Clevo laptop. I bought a Clevo P670RS-G config. Previously I had an Asus G750JX which worked very well and was very quiet. I am very pleased with my Clevo aswell but the fan curve is awful. Have tried both automatic and custom in CCC but none of them are good. Automatic is way to aggressive and Custom makes the fan spin up and down, up and down.

I totally understand if the fans spin up at high temperatures but they are loud already at 50-60 degrees which is just...

Is there any fix for the awful fan curves on the Clevo laptops?

P377sma with 1070N Need help screen not recognized

So i install a msi 1070N in my p377sma. First, it is recognized as "unknow" in bios. ( PremaMod bios)
Then during installation ( .inf mod), after i accept installing this unknow driver, the screen became black. i wait 10mn to be sure driver is installing even with this black screen. i reboot, gpu still as unknow in bios, i can see my screen but once i reach the new windows logo, the screen start to flicker some weird color ( green arround corner ) for a second then it become black. i boot...

hey folks!

i thought id post a summary on current data concerning thermal pastes. the data presented here was derived from this great article by der8auer (on air cooling):

P650RE died... now what?

So my brother's P650RE died and I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to the motherboard failing. Any way, he's in no position to buy a new laptop so I'm dusting off an old Sony from 2012 so he can get by but I need to figure out what to do with the dead machine.

Now I know getting it repaired would most likely cost as much as when I bought it, but I am wondering if any of the resellers sell just the motherboard, then I can just do the repair myself. This probably is still a bad idea with...

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a P775DM3-G laptop (with a GTX 1080 and i7 6700K) from Scan.co.uk and so far my experience has been very negative..

Supposedly Scan.co.uk does performance checks on every laptop it sends out, but out of the box my laptop was completely under-performing, with CPU apparently throttled permanently at 20% performance (for whatever reason). Their customer service was no help whatsoever but eventually I managed to fix the problem by resetting the BIOS to default...

Unfortunately, the CLEVO servers suck big time, you'd be lucky if you were able to complete a download and even if you did, you may or may not be able to successfully extract the zip file.
