Trackpad not working on P870DM3

I just realized my trackpad doesn't work, the right click/left click work fine but when I try to move the mouse using the trackpad it doesn't move

I tried disabling the trackpad / re-enabling it via the FN + F1 but no luck

any ideas?

At first, when I was told that Clevo is using the same 15" keyboard from the smaller models in this large 17" laptop, I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, I thought I would get used to it with time...

Man, even after 3 months of using this laptop, I cannot for the life of me type a sentence without making 2-3 mistakes.

There is so much real estate wasted! I mean why for the love of God! They make the most powerful laptop in the world, then they put this piece of garbage tiny...

Hey all,

So I got my nice new shiny NP9872 (from XIDAX computers), and I added 32GB RAM, 2 960 EVO drives (one boot/os, one programs), and a 1TB spinner. Installed Windows 10 Pro.. all was great. Used it a few times, no problem. Had it sitting for about a week or so, just went to turn it on, and the lovely SAGER opening lettering shows up..and then thats it. Just sits there. I let it go for 30 minutes hoping it was doing something and would show up. Nope. Rebooted several times, no go.

Xotic PC Prema Partner

So I was on @Prema's site today and noticed Xotic was listed as a partner now. So since I bought my P775DM3 from them before realizing Prema no longer publicly listed his BIOS files for download I was more than disappointed. But since I saw they were a partner now I messaged their support asking if I could send my unit in and pay a fee or something to get it flashed. The response is that they wont. Only their "Xotic branded prowler series" is eligible for the BIOS...

1070n msi non g-sync vbios

==> Lg 120hz working with or without nvidia driver. This panel is non g-sync
==> auo 120Hz working without nvidia driver This panel is G-sync
==> auo 4k working without Nvidia driver. this panel is G-sync.

All connectics are EDP.
All screens working with 980m
Auo not working with 1070N

If someone can make me working my both auo panels with 1070N nvidia driver installed, reward is 60$.

2016 is been one heck of a year, both good and bad for our dear Clevo! Some wishes and expectations were met, while others felt kinda off...

Anyway, since 2017 is coming real soon (with some nice looking upgrades incoming I hope), I thought it will be good to get the ball rolling and start this thread!

Hey Sager,

I think a lot of your offerings are on-point, and are a perfect fit for their price brackets. However, I think the $799 Sager NP5855 model should include an IPS 1080p display and an i5-7300HQ instead of a TN 1080p display and an i7-7700HQ.

The majority of the TN 1080p displays that panel manufacturers are putting out today are very poor in quality, far worse so than...

  • i7 6700K
  • GTX 980m x2 in SLI
  • 32GB DDR4 RAM
Hey all, recently I've been having troubles with poor framerate in multiple games: Rocket League, Rise of the Tomb Raider...etc. I've been having a consistent 75 frames with G-Sync before, but now all of my games have dropped down to around 30-40. I reset all my Nvidia Control Panel configurations, but that did not help. Only when I disabled G-Sync had I seen a significant improvement in framerate, but it is now plagued...

Purchase Sager Laptop shells

I am looking to build some laptops with a tech club at university. I would like to buy some laptop shells, and possibly compatible form factor motherboards. As I understand, sager has laptop form factors without integrated CPU and GPU. This would allow us to plan out differing specs for each individual laptop, while still assembling the parts ourselves. I understand they would probably not be under warranty.

This sounds like a great affordable medium to heavy 1080p gaming machine! It's around 6 lbs. I think there should be more "noise" for this model. There is the inspiron 7000 series with a gtx 1050Ti for $800 but you get a better a IPS screen and hopefully better build quality with the clevo's?? Would you buy it??

Hey y'all,

I'm configuring a new NP8157 and I'm wondering if I should go with the 1080p 120 Hz TN screen upgrade.
Those of you who have the aforementioned screen in their build, can you please provide your comments and feedback.
It would also be helpful if you can provide a comparison with the default 1080p 60 Hz IPS option.

my power jack on my p170em have disintegrated:mad: the plastic that holds the metal ring have broke and the connector will come of if you move the laptop,where can i find this jack?have anyone replaced one before they are common on later models as well:confused:

So I am planning to add additional RAM to my Laptop. I have 1 more slot to add another RAM (Total of 16 GB). But I wanted to ask something before I do this. This will be the first time I ever installed a new RAM on my computer so I ask, is there anything I need to check before I choose the correct RAM for my laptop? Is there anything I need to do before installing a RAM? Does it need to be exactly the same as my current RAM card installed, including brand?

Clevo p870dm-g ( flickering screen in full screen game mode)

i7 7700k 4.4
gtx 1070 sli
24gb hyperX ram
4k resolution

MY problem is when I try to play a game in full screen the screen goes crazy and start flickering, but when I put It into borderless mode it works. any ideas of what is causing this? I had this with my previous laptop and ended up getting a replacement just put it on today and to find its doing the same problem. does any1 know a fix for this ? also it wont let me install any new drivers for the GPUs.
