Sager NP8651 - Beeping sound and shutdown

I had bought a Sager NP 8651 for my wife back in February from XotiPC but since she was a little busy and didnt get time to game much the laptop wasn't used for gaming till recently.

Now the issue that happens is on loading a game, a beeping sound starts and the laptop shuts down. Thinking this was a temperature problem , I monitored the CPU and GPU temps and CPU reached like 72 and GPU was like 60-65 when the beeping started.

To eliminate this as a fan problem, I opened up the Hotkeys...

Clevo P370EM Compatible Charger

Hello,

I searched the forum but didn't find anything on this topic. Does anyone know of a charger for my Clevo model that is sold on Amazon or Newegg that isn't as monstrously big as the one I currently have? I bought mine from Origin as an EON17-SLX back in 2013, if that helps anything.

Hi, I found out that the clevo website isn't showing the latest control center. I recently format my laptop and now I cant seem to find the control center app. The app I had, had the manual fan control option. The latest version Clevo clames to have, isnt the latest version. I've tried to find everywhere but cant find. Can anyone help me with this. Thanks.

Sager NP-8268S Synaptics Touchpad issue...

Hello all! Has anyone here had their Synaptics touchpad just flat out stop working multiple times every day, with no discernible reason listed in Windows Event Viewer? The touchpad is left with basic arrow movement and one finger regular scroll function, but nothing else....none of the clicking is enabled, no chiral scrolling, etc. I have tried restarting the SynTPEnh programs, clean reinstalls of the Synaptics drivers both from Sager and Synaptics, clean Windows installs multiple times...

Computer useless without GPU???

My GPU (7970m in a p170EM) recently died, so I took it out to get it reballed by professionals.

Thing is, my computer seems to have GPU withdrawal syndrome... Fans are immediately at Max speed, the num, caps and scroll locks' lights blink intermittently, sometimes it beeps, and always shuts down after 2-3 minutes of turning it on.

Is this normal? How can I use my computer while the GPU is being serviced?

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for AMD to finally release a true upgrade to my 7970m and not just a rename. Of course now I fear I will be unable to update due to no driver/bios support. Does anyone have information to the contrary?
I'm thinking my next gaming laptop will be a MSI so I can actually upgrade it down the road.

P150HM only recognises Samsung SSD in SATA port 2 (ODD Bay) but not SATA port 0 (primary)

Background:
I'm trying to upgrade my Clevo P150HM primary drive from a Seagate Momentus XT 500GB (Old HDD) to a Samsung SSD 840 Pro (New SSD). I have successfully cloned my C drive to from my Old HDD to my New SSD but placing the SSD into the a hard-drive caddy in the 'ODD bay SATA port 2' and using the program 'Paragon Migrate OS to SSD'. I can detach the Old HDD from the 'primary SATA port 0' and boot a nice cloned copy of Windows is the SSD is still in the 'ODD bay SATA port 2'....

P150HM only recognises Samsung SSD in SATA port 2 (ODD Bay) but not SATA port 0 (primary)

W940TU beeping then shutting down

I must say, I was very impressed by the Clevo W940TU at first, but slowly it is giving me some pain.

Randomly (e.g. warm starts, cold starts, with empty battery, with full battery) it would start beeping 20 times and then it would turn off.

It seems to be sending some signal to the OS as I get a popup with a countdown (Debian/Mate, so no virus), but it will also switch off (without beeping) within the BIOS setup, so it is OS unrelated.

At first I thought it was the battery, which kept...

Hello I am going to college next year and needed to get a laptop. I've been looking at mainly a NP8650 but can't really decide between resellers. The eurocom m5 pro seems like a better deal as paying with CAD and the 10% student brings what I want to about 1170. However I've been browsing this forum and saw some negative customer service responses and it seemed Xoticpc was a bit safer of a choice. However to get the same specs of the eurocom m5 pro it'll be around 1380 which is about 200$...

Looking to get a Clevo laptop but need help deciding between Eurocom and xoticpc

I own Sager NP9170.. I've been receiving multiple hard crashes since installing the latest AMD/Intel drivers. I've since rolled back the drivers, but the hard freezes continue.

The error in question is "Microsoft-windows-kernel-power 41"..
It's not bad RAM. I ran memtest86+ several passes. It's not overheating....

Could it be the PSU?
It's been "loose" easy to disconnect ever since I purchased it. But, I've never had power flow issues while it's connected. The battery is more or less...

Is it time to buy a new PSU?

Hello all,

I am in the market for a gaming laptop to accompany me as I move overseas for work during the next two years.

I'm trying to decide between the following 3 laptops. I'm leaning towards the Sager (based on my research, the processor and GPU are swappable, and perhaps even the screen?), but would like your opinions. It's been over 4 years since I've built a computer, so any advice would be appreciated.

I really like the ability to upgrade parts, but recognize the names MSI and...

Hello everyone once again :)

I was just wondering if anyone on here knew of a keyboard skin/protector that will for sure fix the keyboard in this laptop, paid alot of money for my machine and I like to keep things nice and clean to protect my investment :) so anyone who knows anything that would be a great help thanks everyone! Sager NP7155 Fan Noise

I just received my Sager NP7155 yesterday. Almost immediately after setting the computer up and booting to my desktop, the fan on the right (CPU/GPU?) starts making noise. While I'm waiting to hear back from XoticPC, does this noise sounds normal to you guys?...

I would guess that it's not. The video does not do this justice and it's way more obnoxious in person. The fan on the left appears to be functioning...

Clevo W230SS / Sager NP-7338 - Overheating Problems?

Alright, so here's my issue.

I've had this badboy since September 2014 and it has performed to my expectations.
I have only been playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and recently have been
crashing on me.
It prompts the Windows "sad face" screen.
Then it would shutdown and have a black screen with:

"Reboot and Select proper Boot device"

I notice the fan spinning exponentially which leads me to my assumption of overheating issues.
The right side of the keyboard seems to be a lot hotter...

Looking to get my first laptop (been in desktop gaming for a while) and debating between the models mentioned in the title.
