Laptop won't power on, flashing AC adapter light

So not sure if any correlation but I was playing a game (SWTOR) and they just did performance enhancing tweaks in their last update. I was only playing for 5 min. My CPU fan went full blast at one point for a brief 5 seconds then back to normal operating speed for when I play that game. That was weird to me so I opened HWMonitor but nothing seemed out of the ordinary temps wise.

Anyway, my laptop just went off out of no where. Battery is definitely out of juice (thing had 88% wear to begin...
