Power supply's for P870DM2

The question I have for this forum is for SLI mode they recommend two 230 W supplies with their adapter to create a 460 W supply. Because of my many uses on the road I have a need to a 330 W to run in single gpu mode. But do not have room to carry two 230 W and a 330 W, TSA already hates me.
Here is the question: Is anyone running this setup with a 230 W and 330 W with the connector for powering SLI mode?
Does anyone know if this can be done?
