So I have a P775DM3 and I finally got around to delidding the processor to give me some headroom.
Since I've purchased the unit I've noticed my 3dmark cpu scores were a bit low. Well I noticed today that when under stress the cpu will downclock itself to as low as 3600mhz across all cores. This is temperature agnostic. CPU can be at 60c and still do this. So I bumped the multiplier up to 4200mhz and same deal.
