We have a W55SU laptop (PC Specialist branded) on which the screen has gone.
When I say gone, it's not physically smashed but displays largely garbage. You can prod and flex the screen and see pieces of the interface, if you know what I mean.
I'm wondering if it's worth trying to fix? I've seen replacement screens for around the £25 mark but I fear it's not the screen but rather the communication with it. Is that likely to be a ribbon cable or some such?
Any advice appreciated.
